Inspire Those Little Areas In Your Home

An element of decluttering needs to take place to allow change to happen. When it comes to ‘stuff’ If we don’t love it or use it, then maybe its time to lose it. We hold onto things without realising. Releasing some of our stuff is a great way to move freer in our lives.

As a professional Organiser I have definitely become better at my own organising, I am human though, there are areas in need of improvement.

Here are my areas in need of some inspiration - aka - time to go through, sort, declutter and then enjoy….

Jewellery Box - consisting of three small drawers which are suppose to be for - Earrings / Necklaces / Bracelets (right now they are very mixed) There are little pouches and storage boxes but nothing is working. I have ended up with a new landing area in another drawer with the items I regularly wear because I don’t have time to sift through my jewellery box. A definite project!

Handbags - I have a great Ikea box where smaller bags go and another for larger ones. When I’m on the go and swapping from bag to bag they end up in the wrong area getting a little squashed at the bottom of my wardrobe. I have found myself buying more lip balms as I can never find which bag I last left it in! Project number two for sure!

Anything which belongs to my husband - I organise what I can, but without his input it means he can never find anything, well, some things will never change.

Does anyone else have these same issues? Jewellery box? shoes? unorganised partner???

I will be posting my own small personal organising projects to hopefully inspire you too. Organising doesn’t have to start with a huge closet, we can start with one little jewellery box drawer. It will lift our spirits when we uncover a forgotten trinket or old favourite earrings!

Happy sorting
